Quick review for a quick read. I bought this for just under a dollar at Amazon. I usually like perusing guides on time management, and try to look through various guides to get tid-bits on better ways of using/planning my time. This was, at the very least, a well-presented guide on the matter. Finlayson structures the narrative with some practical tips to keep in mind through each of the dimensions of time management, including its defintions, its detractors (things that interfere with people using their time wisely – in terms of psychological barriers/self sabotage), determining focus, business organization, among a few other short tips. I almost wish it had a few examples of structuring a to-do list among some of the other tips in illustrative examples, but I did like how he offered practical questions in some of the sections to prompt the reader. Just wish it had a little more to offer. I can’t complain too much for the price, it was worth the read.
